I'm a Kansas native but considers Sacramento, CA my home after living there for the past 13 years. I could go into all the ups & downs of my life but I won't. I have been taking pictures since I was a child, using old pocket, then compact, and now professional cameras. I greatly enjoys capturing the world and its inhabitants. This includes providing portraits, head shots, event, and product photography for clients.

Video is another passion, I have an extensive library of films and television series and have worked in varying degrees in the industry over my lifetime. I have provided voice over and acting for commercials, lighting and shot composition direction, and video editing for projects. As a director, I seek the emotional core for every project. After a lifetime of storytelling and filmmaking, I'm continually honing my craft by balancing actors, images, sound and music to convey the ideas and feelings the audience must experience. Whether directing comedy, drama, promotional videos or music videos, I balances passion and skill to assure the results are evocative and memorable.

As an editor, I focus on the pace and feel of a project. An important part of editing is intuition. There is a physical response to a scene that is paced well and I have learned that trusting your "gut" is critical for making good editing decisions. I approach each project with a unique perspective to assure the audience is captivated.

I can't say that I shoot one type/form of photography; I just shoot what myself and the model(s) are feeling during the session. Photography for me is a passion and not a business. I approach every session with the goal of producing the absolute best image for my subject and myself. There is no excuse for anything less. I am also a graphic designer and felt like I needed to open my horizon and branch out. I am open to try new things when it comes to taking photos. I hope to meet a lot of new people and work on some great projects. I shoot both in the studio and on location. It really depends on the mood you want to set for your photograph. Cameras and lenses are by Canon USA and post processing with Adobe CS6. Output is delivered on CD-ROM or physical prints. Model release forms are standard with full publishing rights available upon negotiation. I retain full copyright on all non-commissioned works.

These are a few rules we should work by.

• Time is money. Please don't waste mine because I won’t waste yours.
• Things do happen. When they do, please be courteous enough to call.
• Looks are not enough, know your craft.
• Friends, family or guest are not welcome to comment during the session. I believe that the model, I and crew should be the only ones talking to keep things flowing.
• No 2 hours waits for you to apply makeup for one look.
• Keep it simple, unless the shoot calls for it.
