Hello, my name is Spenser Becker. I am 23 years old. I wear leg braces to help me walk. Despite this I am the most confident guy you will probably ever meet! To me having a physical challenge should never stop you from pursuing your dreams. I have much pride in my challenge actually. Both modeling and acting (or anything that involves being behind the camera as a matter of fact) are two of my passions in life. I have big goals involving both of my passions. I will do ANYTHING to achieve them. I am NOT a person you can say the word "No" to. I have been shot down too many times to count and all just because of what they see on the outside.

Although I have not lost my spirit, confidence and especially determination. The time now is to ask the question "why can't a disabled person be a model or act if they have what it takes?" I believe they/we can and I want to be the first to inspire the idea (if not one of the first). I hope this too will inspire others whom are disabled or challenged in some way to follow in my footsteps and gain some confidence to pursue their dreams as well. We need to be accepted in this profession and guess what? WE WILL. Remember that no matter your obstacle you can achieve it, even if it is an obstacle such as a physical challenge. Ok, now that I have said that.

As far as my experience goes I am soon to be finishing my second year as a communications major at ASU (this includes public speaking training/experience). I have been involved with various projects involving both modeling and acting in the state of AZ before joining this site. In the field of acting I am also involved with a very talented coach that trains me in cold reading, the different styles of performing (such as Checkov, Stanislavsky etc) & improvisational skills. In addition to my experience I have had theatrical training/experience by my coach and a community college course as well. I also can provide a resume of both fields of proof if you would like. In the field of modeling I am always looking to expand my portfolio, get involved with special events/shoots or various other publicity project. I am a people person and I love being around others.

I joined this site to network with some professionals and further my goals. I hope we can bring a new revolution to the modeling & media world.
