About Me

I am a busy mother of twin sons which is my top priority although art and design has always been an integral part of my essence...my first memory as a child was drawing paper dolls, cutting them out, then designing thier outfits.

For the last few years I have worked as a fine artist whose painting subjects range from gardens and architecture to even the religious realm. I was offered to sell my first oil painting in high school. In college I majored in art and design and then held a series of creative positions where I could put my talent to use.

I worked as a fashion illustrator for newspaper ads, designed store window displays as well as production sets for television, and even painted mannequins.

I always felt that I had a God-given talent and that I was, in a sense, an instrument of God when it came to my art. However, it was the support and encouragement of others who gave me the confidence to take my painting and designs to the next step. I am forever grateful to those that believe in me....

Roehm Couture grew out of my love for fashion (I spent a number of years as a model, and my face could be found gracing everything from Hallmark cards to billboards to magazine covers) and necessity when I wanted to wear spectacular, one-of-a-kind clothes but didn’t have a budget that allowed couture designs.

I have been fortunate enough to have had my designs featured in magazines, including Phassion and VOCESS Magazine. I will also be featured in the next WOW Magazine.

I’m someone who is interested in just about anything creative and am blessed that I have been able to take what I love doing, whether it is creating couture designs, beadwork or painting, and make it a part of my everyday life.
