Lora Michael is the creative force behind Lora Michael Cosmetic Artistry.

Coming from a long line of artists, it was only natural for her to move into the field herself. After an education in fine arts and a stint as a painter, Lora transitioned into makeup once discovering that her favorite canvas is human.

Lora's experience is wide, varied and includes feature films, runway fashion, body painting, weddings, theatre, children and more. Along with makeup design and application, she's also a highly skilled costumer and hair stylist, creating fantastic fantasy looks that never fail to delight a crowd.

Lora has a special place in her heart for cosmetic camouflage (clinical) cosmetic application. After seeing first-hand the pain and frustration experienced by individuals suffering from dermatological conditions like vitiligo, hyper-pigmentation and scarring, she put an emphasis on learning how to not only conceal trouble areas, but educate clients on how to look and feel their best every day.

When asked about her work, Lora's response was, "It's my joy in life to help someone see how beautiful they are! It doesn't matter if I'm doing an application for a bride or teaching a 10 year old how to cover up their burn scars, the look of delight that comes across the face of a person when they truly see themselves is unmistakable and the greatest reward imaginable."
