My specialisation, and passion, is painting portraits.

Sketching is an important skill, sketches being the basis for portraits commissioned to me. In order to keep up sketching skills and to try out new ideas, I have regular sketching sessions with different models.

MM is a good place to find partners for a project; with some MM models, I have also cooperated for a longer period of time. For one project or more regularly - it is always a pleasure to cooperate and to spend time with creative people.

PS One of the portraits in the portfolio shows an US athlete, you may recognise her : Ariana Washington. She did not pose for me, I have used a photo from the internet in order to try out a specific oil painting technique. And it is beautiful, serene pose. And athletic poses are among my favourites.
