I was born and raised in Bloomsburg, and grew up with my face in every fashion magazine, dreaming of city lights and runway shows. I attribute most of my love of fashion to my mother, who taught me how to sew at a young age and helped me make a lot of my own clothes and dresses throughout my high school years. One of my fondest fashion memories was running around through my teen years wearing her vintage tall leather boots from the '70s practically every day.

After attending school at The Art Institute of Philadelphia for Fashion Design, I was briefly given the opportunity to work for Decorator Industries as a Designer/Product Developer. It was here that I worked on my love for another design related field, Interior Design.

Because of my experience in a manufacturing setting, I'm dedicated to providing my customers with as many products as I can find that are manufactured right here in the United States. One of my goals is to continue to carry the US made brands that I currently carry, as well as incorporate as many new additions as possible to help keep as many Americans working as possible. Keep it stateside, baby.

Most of The Purple Zebra collection comes from LA's famous fashion district. Some of the brands featured in the store are sold in stores such as Urban Outfitters, and some of the brands are boutique lines that are only offered in boutiques in areas such as NYC. I also carry The Purple Zebra private label in the store as well, which is manufactured in US plants. My goal is that The Purple Zebra has something to offer the widest range in clientele, and my mission is to provide trendy, fashionable clothing without compromising your individuality. In fact, The Purple Zebra only carries an average of 3-6 pieces of the same item to help ensure that no one will be wearing your look.

I have been styling my life as well as my friends for as long as I can remember. With the opening of the store, I have been more recently styling more high fashion looks for photographers, as well as for my own store photo shoots. One advantage that I have, is the fact that I own my own store, so I have a whole store of options that I can bring to a shoot!
