I began assisting backstage at hair shows all over the country before I even turned 18. I resisted what I now know was my destiny for a while to attend college, but after a 2 week Italian vacation turned into a apprenticeship under Italian hairdressers Franco Scarpa & John Santilli, I was hooked to the art of hair and returned to the US to attend cosmetology school with Sam Brocato in his Lockworks Academie in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
I spent the first 6 years of my professional career at Spalon Montage in Minneapolis where I completed an advanced apprentice program under Graham Webb Artistic Directors. My passion for hairdressing and education led me to Miami, Florida and New York where I became an educator for Goldwell Hair Color and KMS California Haircare. I have completed advanced trainings at the Toni and Guy Academy in London and the Goldwell & KMS CA Training facilities in Baltimore, MD and Santa Monica, CA . In addition to my work as a color specialist with a passion for corrective and creative color, I also am certified in Balmain Hair Extensions, Brazilian Blowout, curly hair design and creative Up Styling. I love creating unique looks for weddings, special events and editorial high-fashion shoots.
Since moving to Austin, I have started to build a portfolio and work with some local photographers in town for prints. I am easy to work with and great at following direction or creating my own as needed.
