I have been working on a project that is designed to recreate and celebrate the imagery of comic books, B Movies and pulp magazines.

I take all the phgotographs myself and then I manipulate them using Corel and I create digital backgrounds, creatures and scenarios using DAZ.

I have been involved in photography for about six years but my background is mostly in low budget film making. I like creating images that create a story, a story that is entirely personal to the person who sees the image.

I am based in between Glasgow and Edinburgh and am always looking for models to participate in the images - I have plans to release a coffee table style book of some of them and have had some very tentative interest from some small press publishers.

I am an easy going, funny and very respectful person who takes the job seriously but in a relaxed atmosphere and can provide references. If I contact you then it will be a paid offer of work, I take a lot of photos and only render / manipulate a handful so I can't really help out with portfolio shots quickly - though you well get copies of finished renders as they are completed but I cannot guarantee a timeline. If you contact me then we can work out something.

I like to work with models who can emote, as there is no point in trying to fit someone into a scenario that won't work because of lack of facial expression etc. and I like to work with people who are as convincing as an action heroine as they are a damsel in distress.

I have joined here as Model Mayhem has a good reputation for a place where creative people gather and I would like to add some new faces to my images.
