I am a native German, living and working in the United States since 1992. While my technical translation business pays the bills, it also creates a strong need for art in my life. My leisure pursuits are photography, travel, hiking and yoga, and I often find that these four combine well.

I have been photographing landscapes and people since 2006, usually letting the camera choose the settings. I am currently making an effort to bring my own vision to my photography and to improve my technical skills with my Canon 40D.
