Eric Peters Photography is located in Columbus, Ohio. There are several scenic locations nearby that serve as ideal outdoor portrait settings. I shoot mainly with natural light and off-camera flash in this environment, as well as using an indoor, non-traditional studio. I can also shoot at requested theme based locations, or bring an additional photographer for large sittings.

I’m a freelance digital photographer who loves the artistic creativity and expression that digital media allows. I’m extremely passionate about photography and I bring lots of energy and enthusiasm to every shoot. It’s my job to make you look your absolute best and I take this task very seriously.

I strive to capture creative, powerful images and I take tons of shots during our session to ensure this is accomplished. I then use Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop for post-production editing to maximize image quality.

My formal background includes digital photography training at Columbus State, and studio portrait photography experience at the J.C. Penny Portrait Studio. I also have extensive travel photography experience and regularly visit Turkey to capture her historical landscape scenery. In addition to my technical training, I am strongly in touch with the creative process that makes for a stellar photographer, and I’m constantly expanding my boundaries in an effort to reach the level of the masters (Ansel Adams, Henri Cartier-Bresson, William Coupon, etc.). This is a lifelong pursuit that I thoroughly enjoy.

I’m initially seeking amateur models that are willing to trade time for images in an effort to build strong portfolios for both of us. I’m especially interested in photographing bodybuilders, or anything expressly artistic.
