I host weekly figure drawing and painting sessions for our artist community of Westcliffe, CO. Westcliffe is located in a beautiful mountain valley just an hour west of Pueblo. Finding models is a challenge for this friendly, small, professional group, and very much worth the effort for the artists as well as our models. Our models have found the experience rewarding, sometimes taking home sketches the artists create during the session. Personally, I strive to portray the grace of nature in my artwork. Art has always been the mainstay of my life. My main focus is currently nature, but I seek to explore new subjects and new ways to increase the impact of my artwork -- like creating more art with the human form in it.
