To my way of thinking, photography should be fun! It should be fun for the model and fun for the photographer. At the end of any session everyone involved should be smiling, back-slapping, and expressing their hopes for working together again.

I try to create images that make the viewer wonder, "What's the story here?" "Why is this man's hands tied behind his back? And, why is he naked?" "Why does that naked man have a whip? Usually it is the 'whippee' that is naked, not the 'whipper."

I like nudity. (I was born that way.) If garments don't add to the image, they should not be included. I strive for sensuality rather than sexuality.

For any given photo session I generally have two or three preconceived images that I'll try to reduce to pixels. Often I will have made a thumbnail sketch so the model will have some understanding of what it is I am after. I've found that often the model will offer valuable suggestions. (Models tend to be very creative.)

I am retired from a career in accounting and am now exercising the left side of my brain. I don't do this for economic gain. Rather, I do it to satisfy my creative urges and hopefully I can further the careers of aspiring models.
