I am a part time hobby photographer based in the PDX metro area. I primarily work in a studio setting, with heavy emphasis on lighting. I try to evoke a emotion or tell a story through my photos; to me, that is what makes the art. I believe photography is about the love of the creative and collaborative process; bringing ideas to life.

The best photographs are when everyone is working towards a common vision. Even though I take my roll seriously, I also try to make it as fun and rewarding as I can.

Just to be clear, I'm not a professional photographer. I consider myself someone who loves to experiment, collaborate, and create images. If you enjoy my work and want to team up, send me a message.

Working with me

- I have a permanent, home studio with professional-grade studio lighting and modifiers.
- I can travel for on-location shoots. Further planning is required (time of day, etc.)
- I will NEVER charge for a photoshoot. I do this for the joy of content creation, not money.
- I do everything I can to get the shot in the camera. I would rather be behind a camera than a computer.
- My wife is often behind the scenes helping out on set. She brings a great female perspective to the shoots as a bonus.
- I do not do excessive editing. Anything I do is in Lightroom. Photoshop is a last resort.
- Photos are turned over in a timely manner, usually within a few days.
