About Me

Please visit my site (above) for more photos.

[I don't have a studio or much equipment. Right now I literally have a camera, two lenses, and a tripod. Don't let that scare you.. look at my photos and you'll see I don't let lack of funds or equipment hurt the outcome of my work. I make it work. I do most of my shoots outside, not just because the lighting is great, but people and nature together is sort of my style. I welcome all different ideas. More often than not I like to show off peoples natural beauty rather than have crazy makeup and outfits (sometimes that can be fun though). I'm not in the position to pay anyone right now.. basically I take your photos and use them for my portfolio and credit you and you do the same. I'm on here to build my portfolio and get more experience working with different models.]

------

When I was young I remember always staring and staring at photos. My grandma would bring home a role of film and whether it was nature shots or shots of family gatherings I'd get through the set and then start all over again. I seemed to get lost in photos and I'd notice every detail. At the time it didn't occur to me that I had a passion for art and photography, I was just a kid passing the time.

Finishing my Senior year of High School I felt a bit lost. I felt as though everyone had a talent and a passion except for me. I was interested in a few things, but nothing really seemed to stick out to me. And then one day it just hit me: Photography. "Why didn't I think of this sooner?" played over and over in my mind.

About a month or so after Graduation I owned my very own Digital SLR Camera that my father had bought for me. I remember the first day I shot with it.. looking at the photos multiple times and just being amazed at the colors and clarity. And now I have photos that no matter how many times I look at them I can't quite understand how I captured such a moment in time.

Now my mind is like a camera. Every day I see things and imagine how they would look as a photo. Angles, colors, lighting, models, mood; captured. I love Photography. It's what defines me. The only thing that truly makes sense. My passion. My talent. The thing I get lost in. Photography is Me. I am Photography.
