I've been an avid portrait photographer since 1974 using multiple flashes. Now I use strobe, brollies and softboxes for my 'On-Location Portrait Photoshoots'. I prefer the vesatility of the great outdoors and take my studio lighting skills with me for my 'On-location portrait photo-shoots'.
For serious outdoor jobs I use two studio lights via a Flash Centre power pack, it sure takes some beating for power! However, the versatility of speedlights keep drawing me back to their compact size and I sometimes use three for special effects and five on the real top end jobs.
To give back some of the fun I've got out of photography over the years I run a free night school class, YeophotoGroup (Google it in to see what I mean), where members learn hands-on camera and flashgun techniques every Tuesday evening on location within 30 miles of Yeovil, Somerset UK.
I love taking creatively lit portraits and am willing to help local models improve their portfolios. Message me to arrange an on-location shoot on a TF-CD basis. And yes I often will pay travelling expenses for the right face, or I'll travel to you.
