I have a small loft which i use as a Studio north of perth, where i concentrate on expression!

Many of the images you see in my port have been shot there, it is minimalistic, it allows to concentrate on you the model.

I also shoot location, but still prefer to concentrate on the model, using the surroundings to enhance an image but not overpower it.

I also like to follow basic rules of photography, things like composition and framing, focus and light. How your positioned in the image makes a huge difference to the appeal of the shot. You do want to be the centre of attention in the picture, and centre is rarely the place to be.

I also break the rules OFTEN!!! But one does need to learn them first!!

I do work for TF, Mostly my own ideas, often nude/implied nude but ALWAYS concentrating on the person, the connection with the camera and the ability to give real emotion for the image. Eyes are for connecting with the lens not for staring into space... again I often break the rules!!! I do not give away original unedited shots, shooting is only a part of my work it has to be refined before release.
