About Me

As a natural born artist, Mandie gravitated to makeup in her late teenage years by understanding how basic artistic principles could be applied in a real life setting such as makeup artistry. Mandie began her career in cosmetics by working for MAC at the age of 19. From there, she worked for other cosmetic lines such as Shu Uemura, Giorgio Armani, Yves Saint Laurent, and Laura Mercier. Now as a freelancer with over eleven years under her belt, she specializes in commercial, lifestyle, editorial, music videos, and film, and also teaches at Paul Mitchell the School Sacramento as their Makeup Specialist. Mandie has also taken workshops taught by senior artists such as Victor Cembellin, Gregory Arlt, Louise Zizzo, Tiffany Johnston, John Stapleton, Donna Mee, Erica Carr, Sonia Roselli, Kevin James Bennet, Vivian Baker, and Roshar. Mandie is a member of National Association of Television Arts and Sciences and The Powder Group.
