About Me

Hey guys! My name is Amanda, and I’m the photographer of StarryEyed Photography. I know that most people use their name as their business name, but that just was not for me. (I wanted something a bit more original!)
I chose the name Starryeyed because that’s pretty much my philosophy on life.

star·ry-eyed (stahr-ee-ahyd) adj.
1. Overly romantic or idealistic,
2. Characterized by dreamy,
3. Dreamer or visionary.
I strive to represent this ideal in my work and my personal life.
I love to capture everything! Photography is my passion. I have been in love with photography since the 7th grade. I joined a photography club and have been obsessed ever since. I love to document and capture moments in my life. Now, I am privileged to capture the special moments in other people’s lives.
I am married to a wonderful man who supports me in whatever I choose to do. He makes me laugh, chills me out, and has been a driving force in my desire to capture life’s precious moments.
I love coffee, the beach, nature, and anything to do with Italy. Some of these themes can be found throughout my work. As a proponent of conceptual photography, I enjoy making a theme come to life.
