I am published monthly in various outdoor and shooting publications for the shooting and law enforcement industry. Being a member of the outdoor industry, one learns not all settings occur in a studio. The article or client dictates how and where one shoots "beauty" stills and action shots; both help to tell what the article is telling the reader.

MM would provide the location to find a few local models to use in my articles to keep the subject matter interesting for the readers. I can also offer local models the chance to expand their portfolios to include outdoor related industry shots in their body of work as well as expand my work.

In my experience I have been fortunate to shoot images everywhere from the ground to 20,000 feet. My work has been used by the military and civilians alike.

One thing I have learned in my several years behind a camera is the subject may not always be staged in a studio. The client may want "real life" as when working for the military or they may want their favorite pet; which is the toughest model to catch "perfectly".

My past has included working with a major modeling firm in Pittsburgh, doing work for the military while on active duty, glamor work for individuals, and for various outdoor publications.

My work appears monthly in several national magazines. Counter titles include Field and Stream, Handguns, Combat Handguns, to name a few.
