Creative, Intelligent, Sophisticated, Surreal. . .these are the characteristics of Camilla Persaud. Modelling from the age of 16, my passion for the runway by participating in local fashion shows. More recently, I have been committed to fashion shows involving charity work. Enrolling in the 2009 Candles of Hope got me my big break. This event not only raised money for the Canadian Cancer Society but also gave me the recognition I needed. Soon after, I was chosen to be apart of an annual West Indian Bridal show called the "DD Expo" where I participate in every fall. I am also now apart of the DMG Models Team. I do prints for upcoming photographers who want to build their portfolio. I believe there in an art in photography and want to help capture it.

When I'm not modelling, I am a Child & Youth Worker in the region of Peel. I have a strong commitment to giving back to her community. My long term goal is to create an organization which combines modelling/photography and lifeskills/self-esteem programs for young teenagers and adolescence. My hope in this project is to uplift the spirits of troubled youth and decrease mental health issues such as depression, suicide, eating disorders and self-harm. I also hope to one day organize a beauty pageant that accepts all shapes and sizes to attract audiences of all backgrounds.
