The short version:

I am looking to meet Models MUA, Hair and set design people around the LA area interested in fine art, erotic/fetish, and esoteric photo projects.

I admire the work of Mapplethorpe, Bidgood, Helmut Newton, Albert Sanchez and Steve Diet Godde, amongst others.

I love shooting interesting looking people, irregardless of modern popular definitions of beauty, and while I vacillate between highly post-processed and raw from the camera work as far as technique goes, I always aim to expose the natural beauty and humanity of my models.

The longer version:

For a long time, all I said was “I like taking pretty pictures” but I suppose there’s more to it than that.

Philosophy without art is a knife cutting at air. In the end, I’m looking for people who want to explore mans primal drives through photography.

I’m eager to work with just about anyone and enjoy doing everything from fast action event shooting to fashion and beauty, to erotic and fetish work, but my primary goal over the next year is to venture more into produced tableau shots with a strong esoteric current to them. If all of this sounds over-thought and overly intellectual, I suppose it is, but this is merely symptomatic of my starting point. I’m attempting to balance out the Apollonian and intellectual forces that seem to dominate our thoughts today, and return to a Dionysian level and expose our underlying drives and beliefs. I believe that art which strikes at the primal is the highest goal, and it is only on this solid base of creativity and raw exposure of self that the knife of intellect has anything to pierce into.

I recently completed a year of showing with the f/9 collective, and am finishing up a photo book exploring the core concepts of western sexual magic.
