The type of photography I create is fine art: while I do work the wardrobe, draping, and cosmetics for models, that's not primary focus of the sessions; I'm developing an artistic, rather than fashion or commercial, vision.

My website provides ample nudes and implied nudes, yet I have never asked anyone to disrobe; every individual has done so of personal volition. I understand this as a measure of comfort models have with me, but I have no investment in whether a model poses nude.

I work in natural light, throughout the year—it's the look I prefer. Some few of my photos are shot in ambient low light. Very few photos are heavily processed, unless I've clearly added some sort of "vintage" or other texture technique.

I'm not looking to alter or disguise your look, no matter how much we might play with wardrobe or cosmetics: my photography works toward unveiling the beauty I see in everyone—and I prefer models who are deeply emotive.

Let me emphasize that: I collaborate best with models who are deeply emotive.

It's not enough for me, if you're conventionally "pretty," "handsome," or "beautiful." I need you to display some emotion. If you can't do that, we're not going to work well together, and we're wasting each other's time. Okay?

Your ideas are as important to me as are mine; together, we create a session. The checkboxes here don't limit my imagination; hopefully, they don't describe yours.

Each session is focused on one collaboration, and typically include one assistant. Professional styling, cosmetics, and wardrobe are always options, at no extra charge to project participants. Every model is expected and welcome to bring an escort, to ensure comfort and safety. All persons at a session should be of legal age, whether or not appearing in photos.

I do provide paid private sessions, for amateur models and the general public.

A General Release Form is required. All models must be at least 18 years of age, with proper identification.

My studio is located on the coastline of San Diego, near beaches, deserts, and parks. Travel fees apply, if I come to you.
