Before my career in the beauty industry, I earned a B.A. in Human Development from Sonoma State University. After graduation, I decided to pursue a career that both helps people enhance their natural beauty and is rich in creativity. I received my cosmetology training from the Institute for Salon and Spa Professionals in San Rafael, CA.
After graduating, I began working as an assistant to the owner of Genray Hair Salon in San Francisco, CA. Throughout my time at the salon as both an assistant and eventually as a stylist, I received consistent education from Bumble&bumble, Kerastase, Paul Mitchell Color, Simply Smooth, and Organics Color Systems; focusing on precision cutting, custom color formulations, and advanced styling.
I currently work at Sorella Hair Studio in Petaluma, CA. I specialize in wedding and special event styling, and editorial and fashion styling.
I joined Model Mayhem in hopes of making connections with others in the industry and to find photo shoots and other events to participate in, as well as growing my portfolio.
