I have held a camera in my hands since I was 3 years old. Even though I am confidant in my abilities I'll always feel like I'll never stop learning or finding new challenges for myself. I have a list of goals and achievements I am working on and I know I can only get better at this. I am mainly self taught, but thought it important to also take all the photography courses that my local college had to offer. Currently loving my new digital SLR and am also in love with computer editing and retouching. I'll always hold onto that passion and respect for film photography and the darkroom. I am very motivated to network, meet new people, grow and have fun with it. I'll continue to shoot til Im dead.

Heres some ideas for projects:

Dance: Anything from Jazz to Professional Ballet! I want to capture dancers in a mid air pose while waiting for the bus, twisting around to enter coins in the parking meter, "leaping" towards the counter at starbacks to get their morning coffee. Twirling in a dress and flying around while doing their laundry at the laundry mat, theatrically and exuberantly working at their jobs! I want to capture the all the dancers among the public in their everyday settings and routines!

Water Reflections or Underwater: I dont have the right equipment to submerge it underwater.... because if I did, I would be shooting completely underwater all the time! Instead, I would like to get some creative reflection shots in a very natural and serene outdoor pool, lake or pond. Looking to capture the way the hair and a long dress flows underwater. Capture the reflections of the model and the surrounding nature and trees.

1920's: All class. Flapper style clothing.... I want these images to make people believe that it could have been the 1920s! A classy long cigarette holder, a vintage bird cage as a prop? Long Pearls... feathers in your hair. Classic 1920's hats. Jazzy, smart and posh attitude.... I would really love some papermoon photos.... although I don't have access to a giant wooden moon for the model to sit in, I am pretty motivated to to try and find a way to make it happen! Hoping to run into some fun models, MUAs and stylists that are on the same page with me on this one. :)
