I check references. I know this is really standard, but I still do appreciate your understanding. If my research is unsuccessful, I may ask you for a couple people I can contact as references. I prefer this to bringing an escort. However, if you would rather I bring an escort, that's fine too. I have brought my friend who is a stylist along to a couple shoots before, after clearing it with the photographers. Just give me a heads up if this is an issue.
