Behind every ravishing beauty is a makeup artist who has primped, plucked, dusted, and glossed every inch of the canvas that is the face. Amber is a native of Athens, Tennessee who graduated from Cleveland State Community College with an Associate Degree and Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelors Degree in Mass Communication. Amber holds many hats which include singing, modeling, broadcasting, and acting. Makeup is not all she's made of acknowledging that her work is more than skin deep. "I'd watch my mother apply her makeup a few times hen I just started playing with makeup and studying faces in hair magazines and such. I also studied the work of one of my favorite professional makeup artists Sam Fine. My business is a ministry, a makeup ministry. It's a pulpit, and it opens the door for me to encourage people spiritually. Alot of girls are hurting, desperate, and confused. They walk around looking for people to validate them by the way that they walk, talk, dress, act, etc. They lose their self-respect. We must remember that our validation is on the cross at Calvary," she says. "It isn't just about applying the makeup and making them beautiful, it's about making a difference! When your confidence is right and you know who you and whose you are, then you get a touch of Angel Eyes....watch out!" Amber is an active member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Nashville, Tennessee where Bishop Joseph W. Walker III and Dr. Stephanie Walker serve as pastor and first lady. She is a member of the Mass Choir. Amber is also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. "Not only do I enjoy helping women to look beautiful, but I also enjoy helping them to feel beautiful on the inside. True beauty is what is felt on the inside and knowing who you are in Christ," she says. "I had a very blessed childhood I will say. My Aunt Diana raised me and she was one of the world's most beautiful women inside and out. She was a queen and raised up a queen. She was my example of what a woman of God is. GOD has truly blessed me with wonderful friends and family that pray for me, encourage me, and support me every step of the way. I dedicate my success to GOD, my late Aunt Diana, late grandmother, and my mother. I pray that God continue to use me according to His will and not my own. I just want to give what was given to me, a chance and positive influence."
