I'm a 37 year old self taught photographer from Scotland, living in the Scottish borders,but from Edinburgh,been down here for 3 years, My first love in photography is landscapes, I have recently been toying with the idea of moving into portraits and thus has brought me to the model mayhem site, Ideally looking for local models male/female to shoot in my home studio and on location, anyone looking for a portfolio update I would be happy oblige, Time for prints etc, I have been using Nikon equipment for the last few years and shoot only with prime lens's and my style of shooting I would say is of a candid nature, in which I tend to favor shallow depth of field to produce images with atmosphere and a realistic quality.


My aim in joining MM, is to expand my photographic portfolio and network with other's in the locality, and to produce images that are both visually and mentally challenging to the viewer,to achieve this I prefer working with natural light, however when this is not possible or the shot calls for a different ambience I do use
speedlights.
