I am a freelance Hair And Makeup artist, I trained at London's Academy Of Freelance Makeup ( AOFM ) in March/April 2011.
I completed the Total Pro certificate which I gained experience and qualifications in :- . Foundation Makeup . Advanced Makeup . Session Hair Styling . Airbrushing . Manicure/Pedicure . Nail Art . Gel Nail Extensions At AOFM I was taught by some of the most talented and succesfull artists currently working within the industry. I have 6 years experience in the hair industry working as a colour technician/stylist but I have had a keen interest in the fashion industry since a young age and aspire to make a name for myself within the industry. I love all aspects of hair and makeup from fun, editorial to more natural looks and im extremely creative and passionate about what I do. I also work closely with a talented up and coming music group, in which I have done the hair and makeup for PA's and music videos. I live in Chester but I am more than willing to travel to London, Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham or surrounding areas. I currently don't drive although have easy access to public transport. Im more than happy to do free work to gain experince and build up my portfolio. Im looking for people to test with and also assist more experienced makeup artists and session stylists. Hi Sarah I noticed that you are a Make up Artist and from the Liverpool area. There is a networking event that i think would be very beneficial for you for the field that your in. There will be a few modeling agents scouting and acting agents scouting. Its a networking event for people in the field of Media, so models,make up artists,dancers, actors, director, cameramen, designers, stylists, photographers etc will be there. It will be a great way to get more work, exposure and knowledge of you field.
