My name is LaSheena Adams, but I go by LaLa Adams for short. I began modeling at the age of 5 years old at a local mall in Phoenix, Arizona called Thomas Mall (Now named Arcadia Crossing). I modeled for the major department stores located in that mall, Macy’s and Dillard’s in the early 90’s.

I then ended modeling at age 8 and jumped back into it in college. I was asked to model for the photo adds for the school website and catalog. I was featured on one cover of the school catalog and 3 times online (2 headshots and 1 group shot) to represent student life on campus in 2005-06.

My last modeling experience was when I studied fashion design at Mesa Community College and began modeling for the annual spring fashion show.

There I learned that I had more of a passion to fashion modeling than designing. The passion I felt as a child rushed through me to begin modeling again.

My goals in the model industry are to do beauty modeling for make-up and jewelry and runway modeling for plus size clothing.

I have a bright personality, positive attitude and open mind to any projects I am involved in.

I am inspired by Queen Latifah, Mia Amber Davis, and Madam C.J. Walker because they each have a unique approach to beauty but all believe plus sized women are just as beautiful as any other model.

I hope my modeling will inspire women to gain confidence to become as beautiful as they feel.
