When I was in my early 20’s I got heavily involved in art photography and darkroom processes. I loved taking a studio or location image that I shot and processing it anyway I could; the more unconventional, the better. I did standard silver printing, milk prints, sun types, emulsion transfers, anything I could and the worse it smelled, generally the better the results.
I went off and built a career outside of photography. Then digital turned the darkroom into a relic (I’m sad that Polaroid 669 film is long dead) and I set my photog love aside. Now, I miss the art and the beauty and I’m looking to catch up on 20 years of changes. I’m here to rediscover my passion for the camera.
