I consider myself an amateur photographer, but the serious photographers say I am now a professional.

I have been attending many Meetup.com events, and photo technique learning groups for about 1-2 years now.

I love the reaction of people when you take a great picture of them, and they compliment the photo by using it as their Facebook profile photo, etc. Making people feel good about themselves through my photos makes me happy.

I take all types of photos. When I attend my other meetup groups, I usually take photos of the event to document the event so it will bring out more people in the future when they see the photos.

I have just started to take on paid photo jobs.

Even though my photos are relatively good, I am always learning new techniques from other photographes, and admire how well their photos are taken, and how they make them look even better using photoshop and lightroom.

I am joining Model Mayhem because many of the photographers and Models I work with are on here. I also would like to get inspiration from the photos on the site. I would like to work with some of the models in the future for fun shoots, or when I get job requests for fashion or other work entailing the need for a model.

Three of my photos were just published in a non-profit calendar that a large organization will sell for a fund raiser. I have also had my photos used in the local and national newspapers. I was on my schools yearbook photo team using film.
