Hello Everyone! My name is Jazz Perkins or A.K.A. MakeupZOMBIE. I am a make-up artist. I LIVE and BREATHE my craft.
So how did I get into this career choice you ask?
Well As a kid watching my mom put on her make-up was always my favorite thing to do. She was so beautiful and would sit in front of her memorized as she “Put on her face”. And growing up from an awkward kid to my teens I fell in love with make-up and TRANSFORMATIONS it presented. The transformations caught my eye, and I knew that I could do anything! Make a pretty girl gorgeous or a pretty girl grotesque even. And like a small kid whenever I work a shoot I get super excited to see the very change that I helped create. I love my Job, and I love people. I put my heart into what I do, and hope that one day I can put my mark one the industry and I believe whole heartedly that I have the skill and ambition to do it.
I excel in all aspects of my art from: face painting, beauty make-up, to special effects make-up, and am into all styles and genres; as long as I am doing what I love I don’t mind the theme. I also have a lot of creative ideas as far fashion, and model poses or theme ideas. This helps because I can go above and beyond the average artist. It also allows me to be an easy person to bounce ideas off of and come up with the finally result you really want. I’m friendly and approachable and will treat you like a friend that you can trust in.
I have my own studio- Stick Bugg Studios. It is an upcoming studio, but fully believe that soon it will well know. I also work with other photographers outside my studio, and Individual projects that are in the area. I do travel to locations, but depending on the shoot, and location I require a small expense for gas.
