I am a Seattle based photographer with a background and interests that lie firmly in the Fine Arts. I draw from all my interests - sculpture, motorcycle racing, theatre, welding, dance, decay, beauty. I am a guitar player and recording engineer. It is all the same thing to me. At the moment, I am pursuing images that reside in mystery, texture, and questions. Was this found? Is this part of a greater whole? What is the story? I tend to rebel against the usual and be a contrarian. Therefore, I will include lo-fi, gritty imagery to contrast the super tidy, glamour, megapixel work so prevalent here. And then I will contradict myself. Much of my work has been on film, tangible pieces involving painting, encaustic, and dirty hands. But now I am reaching out to the digital world and am interested in collaboration. I like to work with inspired models who appreciate something other than the usual. My preference is to work with "untrained" models as they are usually not burdened by preconception. I do not pay models. Rather, I like to share the work we create. You get images that, I hope, you appreciate and are proud of. Same for me! Shoot me your ideas, I don't bite...
