I am Michael, a fashion photographer based in Barcelona, Spain.

My earliest hands on experience of the Fashion and Beauty industry started 28 years ago as a junior hairdresser for a prestigious chain of salons in the UK.

Whilst there, I realized my passion for the industry and very quickly worked my way up to be the Artistic Director. Not being one to stand still, I later went on to open two very successful salons of my own .

Along this journey I was fortunate enough to enjoy exposure to the commercial Fashion and Beauty Industry.

Here I was able to work and collaborate on numerous fashions shows and editorial shoots with some of the UK and Europe’s top make up artists and photographers.

Years of experience have constantly fed my fascination for hair, fashion & beauty and its ability to transform the way we look still inspires me. It’s this same passion that has inspired me to have an interest and intrigue in what I can also capture on film and why today I find myself very comfortably behind the camera.

Empecé a trabajar en la industria de la moda y la belleza hace 28 años.

Primero como aprendiz de peluquero y luego como director artístico de una prestigiosa cadena de
peluquerías.

Durante este tiempo he trabajado en numerosos desfiles de moda y sesiones fotográficas con algunos de los mejores maquilladores y fotógrafos de Europa.

Años de experiencia han alimentado mi fascinación por la peluquería, la moda y la belleza, pasión que me ha inspirado en interesarme por las cámaras y el haber estado detrás de ellas me ha dado la oportunidad de aplicar todos los consejos e información que he aprendido durante los últimos veinte años
