My path to becoming a filmmaker was ironic to say the least. I was born to a family that had been in the film industry long before I was conceived, holding stage both in front of, and behind the lens. I long remember the musty smell of Burbank Studios, and the taste of stale Cheese-Its in the green room where I would wait for my father. I remember watching scenes being photographed for major motion pictures and meeting childhood idols like “Bo” from the Dukes of Hazard, and John Travolta during the filming of “Blowout,” among others. The funny thing is, I never aspired to be a filmmaker as a young person. I liked my skateboard, my soccer ball, and girls a bit too much to even think twice about a passion that would surface a decade or so later. It wasn’t until I was 21 years old that I got the chance to make my first video, and I have been all but obsessed with the art of filmmaking since that day.

In early 2010, I began working with screenwriters, and other artists to grow the Independent Film Collaborative called Two Trips Motion Pictures. We currently have two dark comedies, and a third feature length drama in progress. I have also become heavily involved in independent fashion films, starting with our most recent release, Haute Couture: A Fashion Documentary. This film was nominated for a Tasty Award in the Fall of 2010, and screened recently at the Paso Digital and SLO International Film Festivals. We are currently growing the Fashion Film Collaborative and blog called “A Fashion Documentary,” with three films currently in progress. Our work can be found on multiple social networks including Vimeo, You Tube, and Facebook, and our online audience is growing rapidly.

In all, my life is dedicated to the art of film. I look forward to entertaining and inspiring you for years to come.
