I first took a camera in my hands 12 years ago. A nice Minolta, bought in NYC. I never cared about taking picture with it, I was just shooting everything, randomly, for one purpose: to spend more time in a darkroom. I used to be literally addicted to the smell of chemicals as I spend countless hours just to "get it right" over one negative or two. Then came the day where the darkroom I used closed, and I didn't want to make the transition to the digital world. I resisted, and resisted...

Up until one cold december morning, not too long ago.

I guess my withdrawal from the chemicals is done ? Oh yes, I miss spending theses evenings in the darkroom, but I started to enjoy taking pictures for an another purpose now: try and make wonderful images, capture a moment or an emotion. I'm still an amateur on that, but watch out...

I'm coming! :)
