I heard about this site from makeup artist Carah Amelie (Oregon); she stressed to her Youtube viewers how much this has helped her in the beginning. I thought I'd give it a shot. Well, I've been interested in fashion, makeup and hair since I was about 11. I only did my own makeup for a while but once I got into high school, I began doing other people's makeup and I finally got a portfolio started up. I'd love to expand it with a lot more of my work; not just the simple looks I have in it now. I recently paired up with a local hairstylist and did the makeup for a fashion show that was put on by BuildOn (a non-profit organization) at the Science Leadership Academy. My goal is to go to college and major in Fashion Merchandising but also go to cosmetology school on the side and get my license in cosmetology.
