About Me

I am a former award winning newspaper and magazine photographer with more than 20 years experience, published in TIME, People, Forbes, Smithsonian, and more than 100 other magazines.

I am now focusing on my artwork, have had several gallery exhibits, and have published two books. I live in North Carolina, and sometimes travel with a friend from Journalism school, who is also an award winning photographer, we photograph models with personality for a long-term project on the American Dream. We like a style of photography that is a little bit edgy, sometimes in the style of photographers like Helmut Newton, which lets the model’s true personality shine.
