About Me

I am an independent fine jewelry designer specializing in colored gemstones. My work is sold almost exclusively online, and I often have pieces modeled to enhance my online presentation.

Typically, models receive the jewelry they model as compensation; they are responsible for providing professional photography with release.

I occasionally work with photographers as well on a similar basis; the photographer receives the jewelry and is responsible for providing modeled photos in exchange. This gets a little trickier because I like to approve the model beforehand, but it can work.

I am interested in widening my current pool to models to include female models of different ethnicities as well as male models with pierced ears. Pierced ears and an attractive face are a must, as is a photographer who can shoot to show off jewelry on a model. I look for approachable faces and eyes filled with personality. The look of my business is upscale, but a younger, edgier, more approachable version of luxury. I like models to be people potential buyers can relate to.

My customer base is diverse and my models should be as well :) I'm open to working with mature and plus size models with self-confidence and beautiful faces. I'm actively looking for black, Hispanic, Asian, and biracial models.

No nudes please, but a male model who looks good shirtless never hurt my mostly female customer base ;) In general fine jewelry is a more conservative business than, say clothing fashion.

I'm looking for opportunities to have my jewelry appear in print, so if you are a photographer or model doing a shoot that *will* be published and would like to wear my designs during the shoot, please get in touch.

Prints are not needed, but high-res digital images and permission to use them are a must :) I need the freedom to crop in to meet my needs at any given time and still have a nice large, crisp image. Some photographers are reluctant to provide high-res files, so models, check with your photographer before you work with me. The photographer must also be willing to provide photos that are not visibly watermarked.

Photographers and models will both be credited on my website (but not necessarily on the page(s) on which the photos appear) with, if desired, a link to your website or portfolio. I definitely love giving credit where credit is due, I just need freedom to use the images in my marketing in whatever crop, form, etc. that the occasion calls for.
