Danker started his radio career as a newscaster on WKRZ91.3FM. The station later underwent a revamp in July 2006 and was called Radio 91.3FM where Danker was tasked to be part of the morning show with radio veterans Joe Augustin and Petrina Kow for almost 2 years.

In 2008, Danker moved to SAFRA Radio where he was part of Power98FM. There he further developed his radio skills and helmed the stations’ Morning and lunchtime shows over a period of 2 years. He was also nicknamed “The Ryan Seacrest of Singapore” by his listeners.

In 2010, CLEO Magazine Singapore listed Danker as one of the years’ 50 most eligible bachelors.
