Hello, my name is Eric Dietrich of Puzzle Face Vizions. I currently reside in Monterey, CA- Area. I am a freelance photographer envisioned to make a brilliant image that people would be happy to hang on their wall. I am spontaneous; I get board easily I do not like same images, poses, outfits and backgrounds. My introduction to Model Mayhem is by referral another model whose images I shot out in the field. I like to take time with my images when I shoot and edit / retouch them if necessary, I know when I put quality time, and I will give clients or models quality results. I am serious about my work but very sociable and willing to work with others to try new ideas. I do not stick to one particular style so I can have variety in the portfolios.

My first goal with photographing new people to get them to be comfortable with me before I shoot them, I respect others and their personal space. I have had photography in high school and college. I am a continuing student at a four-year college majoring in Cinematography as well. I like photos to be creative, inventive, which shout tribulation to get the viewer's attention. I have always had a passion for photography, when I was eight years old I received my first camera, it was a Kodak Instamatic.

My favorite subjects to photograph are people and nature. When I was a kid, I would photograph many of my family members, plants and animals, shooting them from all angles. I strive to expand the boundaries of realism and make an image that catches the viewer's eyes with color, lighting, contrast, composition and texture. The respect I have for abstract modern art such as surrealism has inspired me to create images that push the envelope. The goal of my images, are to show creativity, a defining moment and unique style, also to display my performance as an artist using photography. The images I make display their own sense of character and convey a message to the viewer. "I like to explore the world like a kid in the candy store composing images of people and nature as God intended."

I am looking for like-minded individuals who are flexible and willing to assist in making career dreams a reality.


I am willing to barter services as compensation at the present time to build portfolios. In addition, I am currently seeking local make-up artist/hairstylist and fashion designers to work with on upcoming photo-shoots.
