INTERESTS: I am seeking to collaborate with talented models, make-up and hair artists, photographers, fashion design mavens, lighting and staging experts, and just about anyone who wants to create photographic art. I like to work with both studio lighting and natural lighting -- mainly in the realms of fine art, glamour, fashion, portraiture, and fine art nudes.

ABOUT: I am a fan of beauty, playfulness, positivity, creativity, sensuality, mystery, and revelation. I work to co-create mutual respect and trust with collaborators. I find inspiration in the moment but also from looking at the work of masters in various fields -- fashion, fine art, glamour, portraiture, etc. I've recently been inspired by books by Joyce Tenneson, Helmut Newton, and Ellen von Unwerth among others. I've enjoyed workshops in fine art photography with Brooke Shaden and Brian DeMint, glamour photography with Jarmo Pohjaniemi and Arny Freytag, and have been fortunate to do workshops with many other excellent photographers.

BACKGROUND: I studied photography, design, environmental portraiture, and studio lighting at the New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts as well as various regional and national workshops. I am working on exploring different styles and techniques while developing my portfolio.

EKO HENSHO: is a Zen name meaning "reflecting light back on itself" or "self illumination of awareness". These words are part of an enlightening teaching by Dogen, a famous 13th century Zen Master, but they also resonate with the essence of photography.
