About Me

-=Quick Background=-
I'm a Mid-30s retired Professional Event/Gala Photographer who now does this solely as a Hobby. I'm venturing into the Modeling and Artistic side of this profession. My day job supports my passion and for now, I wouldn't have it any other way. I've been doing Photography in some form or another most of my adult life. Worked at several studios as both a Photographer and assistant Photographer on location shoots. I was a Wedding/Event Photographer for several years in Orange County, CA and worked as a Photo-retouching Photoshop artist for SPX (Graphic studio for Toyota HQ in Torrance). I even worked a stint for Riviera Magazine as a local events and Gala Photographer

-=About Me=-
Photography is and always has been my passion, after the economy took a dive and a lot of my colleagues and I fell into hard times, I knew I no longer wished to rely on it for my bread and butter. My new career keeps me very happy and I'm free to explore my passion once again. I may not get the opportunities to work with the top people like I did, but at least I get to do what I want artistically as well as explore new venues.

-=What do I want to do Artistically?=-
I'm somewhat of a Jack of all Trades when it comes to Photography. I enjoy challenging myself with new artistic styles and take influence on photos that I like at that particular time. I don't have a particular specialty when it comes to the types Genres but I enjoy Portrait, Costume/Cosplay, Pinup, Vintage, Fashion and Glamor. I like to experiment with Dramatic lighting as well as B&W so if an opportunity comes up where I can partake in a shoot like this, I'll jump at the occasion.

-=Wanna be my Subject?=-
Admittedly, my portfolio is not geared toward Modeling and I already understand this is going to cause many people to pass me over. That's fine, for now, I can only offer the following promise/guarantee for all TFP/CD shoots done with me.
~at least 3-5 Portfolio/Comp Card ready prints for every hour dedicated to a shoot.
~80-100% of all non-blurry visibly appealing prints delivered on CD/flashdrive/ or Zipped to file server for download. Res is at least 2000px res or better.
~At least 3 or more Prints processed and cleaned up for your Portfolio/Personal use at full Resolution.

-=My Rules/Non-Negotiable Deal Breakers=-
All Models MUST SHOW UP AND BE ON TIME... Its a simple rule, hope you can understand why its my only rule.

-=What I shoot with=-
I work with a Canon 60D, 50mm prime, 85mm prime, 17-70mm 2.8, Speedlite 580EX II flash kits with 2 430EX II remote flashes. Portable AC power strobe kit, disc reflectors, and have access to a older studio light kit and several backdrops for indoor shoots.
I use Adobe Photoshop CS5 and Lightroom for all touch-ups and color corrections.

Note: I have an assistant/girlfriend attending as many shoots as she's can.
