I do portraits and male figure studies in charcoal, pastel, graphite and ink. On Model Mayhem I look for models with athleticism and definition who can project a sense of fun.

I start by shooting my own photos, either outdoors or indoors in natural light.

Shoots take between 2 and 3 hours and usually involve partial or implied nudity, it depends on you. For me, the bottom line is that a good drawing begins with a good photograph, so I'm pretty passionate about photography and creating a strong concept for each shoot.

I hire models in the LA area and pay a flat rate per shoot.

I'm looking for in-shape fitness models, 18-30, with excellent muscular definition, abs, all that stuff. If you or someone you know fits the bill, don't hesitate to get in touch.
