About Me

***Update: Have been on a break from MUA work and have just moved to OC area.***

Hi,

I am Daryn Allene, a Makeup Artist & Model. Makeup is a form of expression and Art. I started off painting in school then went on to photography, film, fashion, fashion styling and many more. I went to University at Ravensbourne in the London area UK for Art & Design with a focus on Film. In 2008 I took a course at Central Saint Martins in Fashion Styling. I always had a fascination with makeup and would do it as a hobby when I wanted to dress up for different events and themes. In March 2011, I was an extra in a Goth Music Video in New Zealand and got to see and watch the MUA's at work which was an eye opening experience to see the makeup and prosthetics put on. In Summer of 2011, I set out to make a commitment to my passion for Makeup. I took a Makeup course at Dreamgirl makeup Institute in San Francisco, CA and have done Fashion shows and Photo shoots that I am proud to call my work.
