My name is Alexis Taylor Akridge. I am a Makeup and FX designer.

I've been working in the field of hair, makeup and prosthetics for over 6+ years now. Most of my background began in theater arts, and then progressed to film, prosthetics, beauty and so on.

I believe that it isn't my job to "create something beautiful", but only to enhance or unveil the beauty of every individual I get the pleasure of working with.

I find that I feel at ease when I can not only give the director, artist, model, performer, etc. what they want, but exceed their expectations. It is my job to make sure they feel nothing short of exactly what they need.

I specialize in makeup for Beauty, Stage, Film and Special Effects...and basically anything that can get my tiny hands dirty.

In collaboration, you will find both a professional and an artist in every sense within my work.
