Gregson Gastar is a professional hairstylist and freelance photographer passionate for the human form and the beauty of original expression. He has an innate ability to cut hair to complement any face, enhance beauty and reflect an individual’s personality. This unique gift of perception works to capture the mood of subjects, producing stunning images.

Gregson’s lust for hair emerged at a young age after discovering Barbie and the joy of her luxurious tresses in his sister’s toybox. It wasnt long before he picked up a camera and began to chronicle his creations. He was raised in Melbourne within an artistic and gregarious family; both factors which encouraged his pursuit of a dream career, “I was very lucky, both my parents encouraged me to do whatever I was passionate about.”

Gregson was a finalist in this year’s AHFA Australian Men’s Hairdresser of the Year and has had both hair and photography work published in magazines including Australian New Idea, InStyle, Marie Claire, FHM, Estetica (Italy), Images (NZ) Beauty and Hair (Indonesia), Diconnect (Hong Kong) HairTrends (UK), MOD Magazine (USA), Estilismo Actual Collection (Mexico).
