I started out taking photos of lightning bolts, car shows, and nightime skyline/astronomy shots. Lately I've been photographing the local bands that play in the bars and small venues in my area because a friend in a band wanted their shows photographed for promotional purposes.

That has expanded into taking photos of as many shows in the area as possible to help promote the local music scene. All these shots are unposed and captured during the performance in low, highly variable light, with no flash. This is kind of tough since I have no control over the lighting and can't offer direction to the subjects, but it keeps me focused and creative. My work has been well received, I've enjoyed it immensely, and now I'd like to expand into model work.

MM was suggested to me as the most reliable way to contact models in my area and I'd like to establish mutually beneficial relationships with models in the central Kansas area for my own concepts and collaborative efforts.

I don't work from a studio and would prefer to stick with location shots. People who know me appreciate my creativity, work ethic, and sense of humor. I don't have a singular "style" other than that I prefer to utilize ambient light as opposed to flash photography whenever possible. I'm accustomed to working in challenging envrionments and open to shooting any genre so long as the concept is sound.
