Yolonda Camille is quickly becoming a recognizable face in fashion and entertainment. Yolonda got her first taste of modeling while studying at the University of Miami in 1999. There, she was selected to appear in the university’s swimwear calendar. Although school came first, Yolonda knew then that she was made for the entertainment industry.

Her first national modeling role was for Pantene hair products. The Pantene advertisements were featured in magazines such as Essence, Ebony, Vibe and Jet. Then, thanks to her energetic and endearing personality, Pantene asked Yolonda to appear as one of the brand’s spokesmodels during a segment on the Tyra Banks Show. Yolonda doesn’t limit herself to modeling. Whether she’s taking a lead role in local independent films, such as Unfinished Tears (2010), where she plays an emotionally distressed, yet strong wife grieving for her husband, or making appearances in As The World Turns (2009) or Hall Pass (2011), Yolonda shows a genuine aptitude and enthusiasm for acting and entertaining.

Outside of acting and modeling, Yolonda maintains an active schedule of event hosting and speaking engagements. Yolonda also finds ways to connect her career in entertainment with her desire to inspire youth. One thing is apparent: Yolonda has resolved that she has a valuable contribution to make in the world of entertainment. She has the ambition, passion, and drive to make the most out of every new opportunity and continue expanding upon the success she’s already achieved.
