Hi there!
Thank you for viewing my page! My name is Cortez and I am an up and coming Freelance Makeup Artist. I am new to Phoenix so I am really excited to work with all the talent artists whose work I've seen here on Model Mayhem.

I have 3 years experience working in the field of makeup artistry and looking forward to many more! I started doing makeup while attending Paul Mitchell The School for Skin Care Therapy. Since then I've gained a wealth of knowledge by working in fashion shows, hair shows, and fundraisers. As well as lending my talents for blushing brides while working for Merle Norman Cosmetics as a Beauty Advisor/MUA for wedding parties and special events. I have also done many photoshoots working with very talented and creative individuals. I LOVE photoshoots! Currently, I am working on my first film titled "Where Dell Went". Its been a blast and I hope to do more film work in the future!

Now that that's out of the way, I'll tell you more about me! I'm really easy to work with because I really love the work that I do and im willing to help in any way to get a great finished product. I am emotionally stable so no crazy outburts from me lol...I've witnessed this on sets before, sadly. Very professional yet easy going. I love to listen to music while I work! It keeps the mood and energy up during the shoot.

I am looking to expand my portfolio so please contact me if you are in need of a MUA. Also, I would love to shadow/assist more experienced MUAs because I'm looking to soak up as much knowledge as humanly possible. Special fx artists too!
